About D'Valda & Sirico
Established in 1987, under the direction of Angela D’Valda Sirico and Steve Sirico, the Dance and Music Centre continues to provide it’s students with the finest in performing arts training. Our programs are designed to meet the skill level and goals of all children, teens and adults from the aspiring beginner through experienced professional. Whether the goal is to perform professionally or take lessons just for recreation, We have a program to meet your needs. Classes are taught by experienced instructors active in the professional arts world as performers, choreographers, musicians and teachers.
We utilize the latest techniques and styles to compliment a strong classical foundation making classes developmentally appropriate, challenging and fun.
Participation at the Dance and Music Centre goes far beyond just mastering steps, learning notes and winning awards. It encompasses much more, such as building self esteem, encouraging team work, developing self discipline, musicality, self expression and an appreciation of the arts. Our goal is to help all of our students reach their greatest potential with the confidence to reach for the stars in whatever career they may choose.
But learning dance and music is only part of the experience at D'Valda & Sirico.
Our professional staff and teachers create a warm, secure environment for our students while responding to the needs and concerns of our parents. We offer many free customer appreciation events throughout the season to share, casual relaxed time with our families.
Our year end productions consistently receive rave reviews as a positive experience for both the performers and audience. The youngest students have their own special performance at the conclusion of each session in a more relaxed environment, designed to be a stress free, and a happy experience for the young performer and family. Our Annual Student Showcase is presented in a professional theater to maximize the comfort and enjoyment for all involved. The creative choreography, professional lighting and sound system along with the consistent progress of the students, who are obviously having fun and enjoying the show as much as their families, keep audience members returning year after year.
Our Centre, located in the heart of the downtown shopping district, provides parents and students with ultimate convenience.
You can browse the stores or pick up dinner right outside the door. This air conditioned training and performance space can accommodate everything from one on one coaching to large production rehearsals. All studios have spring step, air sprung dance floors for optimum performance. Our private music studios have been designed with enhanced acoustics, sound proofing and Kawai digital teaching pianos. Both women’s and men’s changing areas are provided. Refrigerator and microwave are availble to the students in the homework/snack area adjacent to the lobby.
